- My rhetorical situation is that Systemic racism in healthcare is an extensive issue that impacts people of color’s access to and quality of care. Therefore it is what my essay will be about. The audience of my research essay about systemic racism and health care are the academics (professor among others in the institution). This paper is meant to inform people with data and precise explanation of what’s being ignored but is constantly growing throughout the years. My motive is to spread knowledge of racism in healthcare and to illustrate how it has impacted the growth of the healthcare system. While also highlighting the importance of this topic that is being dismissed and/or pushed down to where people see it but they don’t try to help it. Throughout this paper the genre and format is a research essay.
