Week 7
- One of the learning objectives that I’ve learned is to compose texts that integrate a stance with appropriate sources, using strategies such as summary, analysis, synthesis, and argumentation. Which were used throughout the process of writing my learning analysis essay since I had to summarize important learning moments, analyze their importance relating to my learning, synthesize my ideas into a paragraph, and lastly argue their importance to the reader. These are ways that I’ve learned to use strategies to thoroughly go through my ideas and sources which then would help me become a better writer in the future.
Week 6
- I’ve annotated an article about systemic racism and health care. In this annotation I’ve included information such as what is in the article, how it relates to my research topic and what I’m going to use to prove my point. This type of annotation helped me analyze the article thoroughly. While it also helped me annotate the important details and actually point out evidence that are relatable to my research. Another process I could do is to analyze the articles to compare it to similar articles. This has been helpful for me by providing new ways of learning about an article and how to thoroughly go through it.
